Back in May of 2009, a shipper used the team track at Dyersville, IA to unload a large piece of machinery. The plan was to transfer the cargo onto a heavy duty flatbed truck for final delivery to the customer. A system was used to lift and slide the cargo onto a specially designed trailer. However, once the cargo was transferred, it was discovered that the loaded trailer axle rating exceeded Iowa DOT limits. A heavier duty trailer was brought up from Texas, and the cargo was transferred to the new trailer using the same lift and slide system. We hope you enjoy this series of photos.
